I am an academic clinical neuropsychologist with an interest in neurodegenerative disorders and successful trajectories of aging (the Northwestern University SuperAging Program or “NUSAP”). I direct the Laboratory for Translational Neuropsychology at Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern bridges antemortem clinical features of dementia with postmortem microscopic neuropathology found at autopsy. I am the Co-Director of the Clinical Core of the NIA-funded (P30) Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) housed within the Mesulam Institute for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease. My clinical work is focused on the neuropsychological diagnosis of dementia syndromes and other age-related disorders. I am passionate about mentorship, teaching, and collaboration.
